When you separately consent to receive promotional communications, we may occasionally send information about upcoming classes, registration openings, discounts, and other training opportunities.

Consent to receive promotional telephone calls or text messages is not a condition of purchasing a course.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. You may opt out of promotional text messages by replying STOP. You may request assistance by replying HELP or contacting us directly.

Promotional emails will include an unsubscribe method when required. You may also request removal from promotional email communications by contacting us at info@firstgun.org.

Opting out of promotional communications will not prevent us from sending necessary transactional communications relating to a course for which you have registered.

5. How We Share Information

First Gun Firearms Training does not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate our business, including providers of:

• Website hosting
• Email and text-message delivery
• Customer-relationship management
• Online advertising
• Course registration
• Payment processing
• Business analytics
• Data storage and security

These providers may receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform services on our behalf.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful legal process, prevent fraud, protect safety, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights and property of First Gun Firearms Training or others.

6. Meta, Facebook, and Instagram

When you submit information through a Facebook or Instagram advertisement or Instant Form, your interaction is also governed by Meta’s own terms and privacy practices.

First Gun Firearms Training does not control how Meta independently collects, uses, stores, or processes information through its platforms.

7. Data Retention

We retain inquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry, provide requested services, maintain appropriate business records, and fulfill the purposes described in this policy.

Ordinary lead and inquiry information may generally be retained for up to 24 months following the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, transaction, safety, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping purposes.

We may retain a minimal record of an opt-out request for as long as necessary to ensure that the request continues to be honored.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

• Request deletion of information that is no longer reasonably necessary
• Change your preferred method of contact

Certain information may need to be retained when required for legal, accounting, safety, transaction, or legitimate business purposes.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our advertising lead forms and course-information services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information through these forms from children under 18.

If we learn that information was submitted by a child without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
