MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Allow me to introduce myself; I'm Jon Hoffman, a firearms instructor with extensive experience gained from my career in law enforcement. Over the course of more than a decade, I've had the privilege of serving in various roles, including Patrol Officer, Traffic Unit Officer, Crime Suppression, Narcotics K-9 Handler, Explosives Detection Dog Handler and Courthouse Security. My tactical expertise has been especially shaped through my involvement in narcotics investigations, major cases, and comprehensive training in threat assessment and explosive prevention within the law enforcement sector.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to provide security services for well-known organizations like the NFL, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and prominent figures in the entertainment industry including A-list Actors and Singers. I've also had the honor of collaborating with State and Federal Agencies such as the GBI, FBI, US Secret Service, and Homeland Security on high-profile assignments. During my career I've received approximately 2,000 hours of certified, in-service law enforcement training and have attained specialized certifications such as Field Training Officer, making me a trainer of new Police Officers.

My background has provided me with a deep understanding of firearms, their responsible use, and the critical importance of safety. However, what I find most significant is my commitment as a Christian and a family man. My greatest fulfillment arises from my dedication to serving God and being a devoted husband and father. This personal perspective informs my instructional approach, as I've experienced firsthand the importance of protecting one's family. My passion for teaching is rooted not only in responsible gun ownership but also in my genuine concern for the well-being of each individual I train, ensuring that all my students emerge not only as proficient marksmen but also as responsible and ethical gun owners, reflecting the values that hold a special place in my life. Under my guidance, you can anticipate enhancing your firearm proficiency while embracing the principles of safety, responsibility, and community stewardship that I hold in high regard.
